Peter, I am very sorry to read that. You once told me that you really like your cat, and so I can understand that you feel some severe grief about your loss. I can only assume that it is even worse when your cat was intentionally killed and you have a strong suspicion who the killer is. Regards, Martin

Sounds ambitious! But more power to you...

I've got to admit that I really enjoyed playing with BrainStreamer, but became frustrated at the lack of export to use in other formats.

The idea of being able to use other map entities (mine and others) is a fantastic idea and fits in well with the Topic Map definition where you can specify a location.

I also think that the ability to create my own types is essential.

Congratulations: roll on v.2!!

I wish you the best of luck. Brainstreamer looks like a pretty interesting product. I'm going to give the demo a go-round and will try to write a review of it on my blog. Looks like a good bargain too, based on the website copy.

I started programming with I was 12 or 13 too. I wonder if it's a genetic predisposition? I've been at it 25 years and still love writing code.

Why, this is really a good way of handling accidents: Just trying to get the best out of it :-) Instead of wasting time with self-regrets and complaining about life, the world, and everything, one should try keep up the spirits. I admit that this is not always possible, but in your case you made it happen.

I guess I will check the applications you mentioned because I am also frequently annoyed that I have to remove my hands from the keyboard and to grab the mouse, especially while developing.
