One of my neighbors is a cat murderer.
In my last post I wrote about Pineau, my cat that was found drowned in a pool near my house.
In the same pool, we found 2 more cats and parts of some more cats. The cats didn’t drown but were poisoned.
I’m living here for 4 years and have lost 4 cats in that time and I am certain that 3 out of the 4 died the same painful way. 4 other neighbors also lost their cat in the last 2 years.
The pool that the cats were found in is located in an old factory that has been abandoned for over 30 years. There is only 1 private road to it.
So looking at the situation, for me there can only be 1 person that did this:
- Somebody that has access to the pool without being seen by others
- Somebody that was not on vacation when my cat died last week.
- Somebody with a motif: keeping fish, birds,…
- Somebody that knows about the factory and the pool over there.
For me it is certain who the killer is, but I can’t prove it for the police. They can’t do anything about it.
This is normally a quiet neighborhood, but this is going to change as I am not going to let this go. I still have 3 cats and I don’t want them killed in the last 4 months that I am living here (I sold my house, but it takes time before the paperwork is finished).
So, for the moment, my plan is to make lots of noise in the neighborhood. Send out letters. I convinced the others that lost their cat to file a complaint. I am going to make sure that the police keeps investigating. I’m also going to go out at night and check the factory regularly.
I hope this sick bastard is going to get caught.
